I traveled all the way from India and stayed at Silver Creek Resort near Canmore—and it was absolutely worth it! The location is breathtaking, surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains, with easy access to both Canmore and Banff. It truly felt like a peaceful escape into nature. The resort was clean, well-maintained, and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, warm, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—they even gave us tips on nearby trails and must-visit spots! Waking up to those stunning mountain views each morning was unforgettable. Whether you're here to hike, explore, or just relax, Silver Creek Resort is a hidden gem. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Alberta, especially international travelers looking for a true Canadian experience. Can't wait to come back again someday!

We loved our stay here! It was a surprisingly spacious suite. The kitchen had everything needed for self catering, we cooked the majority of the time and had no problem with the kitchen facilities and utensils provided. Bathroom was great and I loved the massive bath tub. Bed was large and comfy. Great added feature of a balcony which was very sunny on arrival so it was great to have a drink on there with a view. Living room was roomy and comfy. The apartment was very clean. And hotel staff were fantastic, extremely polite and provided extra local info. We loved the use of the included hot tubs and steam rooms, just what is needed after a long day hiking. It is in a fantastic location, Canmore is a great little town and of course 20 mins from Banff. Excellent value. We hope to be back!

Wow what a stunning room 210, nice lounge with lovely views of the mountains. Kitchen really well laid out with everything you need. It included a seperate room with a washing machine and dryer which was very handy. The bedroom has a very large bed and another TV which was not expected. A lot of cupboard space with two big side tables. The bathroom has two doors one with a sliding door into the bedroom and another into the passage. There is a big cupboard by the entrance for luggage storage. There is also a balcony leading off the lounge again with the mountain views. This is the first place that has the best blinds and black out curtains on the bedroom wiindows, no light gets in which is fantastic. Wish we had booked for longer. Good underground parking was included.

We spent 3 nights at the Silver Creek Lodge, Canmore. They kindly upgraded us to a studio which we loved. The room has a full kitchen and washer/dryer which we really needed! We enjoyed the hot tubs and steam room onsite. The staff were friendly and helpful, they provided extra washing powered, towels etc when needed at the front desk. The lovely Vietnamese female staff member checked us in and she was very helpful and professional. We would highly recommend the Silver Creek Lodge and staying in Canmore (it’s beautiful) rather than Banff. Base yourself here and explore the fabulous Rockies, and you must do a day trip to the Colombia Icefields - book in advance! Photos of the view from our room attached.

Great second time stay. The units and property look upscale but are starting to show wear and age. Shower wasn't working properly and some of the nozzles were plugged or broken off. Well appointed condo units with all the basics you need, but only place settings for 4. If they addressed some of these small issues it would be a 5. Laundry in suite and they even included a box of soap, dish soap, cloths, sponges, and paper towel. Even robes were included for the hot tubs, and also a spa with services too. Great views from the unit and you can see the tops of the mountains peeking over the fence from the hot tubs too. Underground parking. Restaurant on site.
